Brothers From Another Mother

Two New England transplants met in Tahoe back in 2010 and, through their shared love for hiking, snowboarding and New England Patriots football, immediately became best friends. 

Originally from New Hampshire, Nick has tended bars in Florida, Colorado and Tahoe for well over a decade now and has become addicted to the fast pace, high energy and social gathering atmosphere of the bar and restaurant industry. Bringing a food truck to South Lake Tahoe and helping to launch a local food truck scene has been a dream of his ever since being introduced to the concept in Portland, OR and completely falling in love with it. Prior to launching Crepes & Craft, Nick served as Bar Manager and Master Mixologist for The Loft in South Lake Tahoe where he helped them win “Best Cocktails” and has been nominated for “Best Bartender” in Best of Tahoe voting.  

Haling from just across the border in Vermont, Eric’s passion for creative cuisine was ignited while participating in his high school’s culinary program and he has never looked back. His aptitude for developing original mouth-watering flavor combinations and serious skills with a chef’s knife earned Eric the title of Kitchen Manager by age 19 and he has dedicated countless hours to sharpening that knife and perfecting his palate since then. Eric was originally inspired to start his own food truck after relating to the disgruntled chef portrayed by Jon Favreau, in the appropriately named movie “Chef”, who made the fulfilling decision to leave the restaurant business and start his own kitchen on wheels. Ever since then, Eric has been on a mission to fuse his passion for culinary creation with the convenient and versatile model that serving his masterpieces out of a mobile kitchen allows for. 

Guinness, a 5-year-old Mastiff mix who loves the outdoors and chasing squirrels, became the third musketeer when he was adopted by Eric back in 2015. Guinness loves children, is particularly fond of golden retrievers, and has never turned down a piece of bacon...ever.

Outside of the kitchen, Nick, Eric and Guinness are adventure seekers who enjoy everything outdoors, from hiking and mountain biking to snowboarding and kayaking, and can almost always be found out exploring the natural beauty of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
